D\u00eda Internacional del Pueblo Gitano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>LAS ORGANIZACIONES DEL PUEBLO GITANO CONMEMORAN SU D\u00cdA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ma\u00f1ana tendr\u00e1n lugar los actos conmemorativos en torno al 8 de Abril, D\u00eda Internacional del Pueblo Gitano.<\/p>\n<p>Khetan\u00e9 Rromnia, junto a Fapugex y la Fundaci\u00f3n Secretariado Gitano, conmemoran ma\u00f1ana, primero en la Sala de la Autonom\u00eda de la Asamblea de Extremadura y despu\u00e9s en el Puente Romano de M\u00e9rida, el 8 de Abril.Un d\u00eda en el que se reivindican nuestros derechos: luchar contra la discriminaci\u00f3n, el antigitanismo y los estereotipos. Y en el que honramos a nuestros antepasados y mostramos respeto y tristeza por las v\u00edctimas del Samudaripen (intento sistem\u00e1tico de exterminio del pueblo gitano llevado a cabo por la Alemania nazi y sus Estados aliados durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, en el marco del Holocausto).<\/p>\n<p>El D\u00eda Internacional del Pueblo Gitano fue declarado oficialmente el 8 de abril de 1990 en Srock, Polonia, durante el cuarto Congreso Mundial Roman\u00ed, organizado por la Uni\u00f3n Roman\u00ed Internacional (IRU).\u200bLa fecha se eligi\u00f3 en honor al primer Congreso Mundial Roman\u00ed, celebrado del 7 al 12 de abril de 1971 en Chelsfield, cerca de Londres,\u200bel cual marc\u00f3 el inicio de la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional de los representantes roman\u00edes.\u200bEn este congreso se establecieron s\u00edmbolos importantes como la bandera y el himno gitano Gelem, gelem, y se definieron las bases para el reconocimiento y la promoci\u00f3n de la cultura y los derechos del pueblo roman\u00ed.
